These are our Top 3 reasons why we think you should switch from Plastic Bubble to a Paper Based Cushioning Wrap.
1.) Storage Space: (See above picture). 3,000 sq ft of Bubble Cushioning verses 3,000 ft (4 cartons) of our 750 ft Ranpak Geami Greenwrap Dispenser Boxes. If volume is needed, 24 cartons ship on a single pallet and is 18,000 usable sq feet of paper honeycomb cushioning! One pallet of Honeycomb Paper is the equivalent of 6 master rolls of bubble.
The Paper Bubble Alternative requires less storage space. For example Plastic Bubble Rolls, are full of air, and take up large amounts of storage and work station space. While a Paper based alternative is not only Sustainable and Earth-Friendly, but ships and stores unexpanded, expanding only when it is dispensed thus taking up less space.
2.) Shipping (from us to your warehouse): Due to it's large and bulky size, Master Rolls of Bubble have to ship via LTL Freight, and fills a pallet. The equivalent in our Paper Honeycomb Alternative, consists of four small cartons and can ship via FedEx or UPS for less than half the shipping cost.. Or we can ship 24 cartons on a pallet (18,000 sq ft of usable cushioning). Shipping air is expensive.
3.)Paper or Plastic?: The paper alternative also provides a smaller footprint, thus less fuel/carbon to transport it. Paper alternative also requires a smaller warehouse footprint, less warehouse space needed. Paper degrades faster.
