Shipping Tip of the Day - Packing Tape Not Sticking?

Is your packing tape not sticking to cardboard shipping boxes? Your boxes could have a high recycled content, or be dusty, or have a thin film of oil or grease on them, which gives carton sealing tape problems. A quick and easy fix, do not throw out your boxes, just use a little extra tape. Tape is cheap, and this trick may cost you a few cents, but it's much cheaper than tossing your boxes and buying new boxes. The tape may not stick well to your boxes, but tape sticks to tape pretty well. When sealing the top and bottom of your box, keep the tape dispenser rolling, and connect the two pieces of tape. This should keep the ends from curling up and coming unglued!
