"Operations During Mardi Gras in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi

February 12 – 17, 2015

FedEx anticipates local delays in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi February 12 – 17 because of Mardi Gras 2015 celebrations. As a result of closed roads in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi, unavoidable service delays are anticipated. We do not know how Mardi Gras in New Orleans will affect delivery times in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Louisiana, other than New Orleans and maybe surrounding areas? The best guess we can come up with is if FedEx has hubs in or near New Orleans that may be affected by heavy traffic and possible road closures that feed Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi?  What do you think?
